G12, the Government of 12

Walk with twelve.

G12 keeps the flow of twelve in view: one Steward, twelve in their Household, and each in time at the head of a Household of their own.

How it grows

One table, then twelve.

A Steward sits with a Household of twelve. In time each of them is Entrusted with twelve of their own, and sits at a table of their own. A House grows by households, never by a crowd, and everybody in it is known by name to somebody.

The course

The Way, lit one lamp at a time.

Everybody walks the same road: passages, and steps within them, read on a phone at their own pace. Some steps are a Table, a real conversation that only the person’s own Steward can close. Nothing is marked done by a machine that should be said across a table.

Who it is for

A House is anybody who leads people.

A congregation. A business. One person, and the people around them. Each is a House of its own, with its own words for everything in it, and nobody outside it can read a single name.

  • A congregation
  • A business
  • One home

Arriving

From an invitation to a lit lamp.

  1. The CallA Steward hands somebody a code. The code reaches the door; the steward opens it.
  2. WelcomedThey sign in with their number and a code. No password to forget, nothing reused from elsewhere.
  3. At the tableThey take a seat in a Household, and their steward sees who needs them first.
  4. WalkingThey walk The Way, and one day sit at the head of a table of their own.

For a Steward

Who needs you, before anything is tapped.

A board of twelve, sorted by who has gone quiet longest. It reports health and flow, and it never ranks anybody: nobody is compared with anybody, and a person never sees how the system reads them. The pastoral answer to somebody going quiet is a visit, not a number.

What lasts

A record that can be checked, and a moment that cannot be bought.

Courses end in a certificate anybody can verify by its code, and badges a person keeps. The step that matters most is not graded by anybody: being Entrusted is a Steward’s judgement, said to one person, once.

Where it lives

In a pocket, and on a desk.

Members and Stewards carry G12 in the app, which works on a slow line and keeps a passage for the road. Those who run a House or write its courses have the web, laid out for a desk.

Begin

Ask for a House of your own.

Tell us what it should be called and who leads it. Somebody reads every request, and the invitation code arrives by a person, not a machine. Already in a House? Sign in with your number.
